Graduate Education

Potential graduate students interested in advanced degree opportunities in transportation and urban planning at the University of Connecticut are urged to visit:

Civil and Environmental Engineering Department

Graduate level educational and research activities in the Transportation and Urban Engineering (TUE) area of concentration focus on the planning, design and operation of transportation systems.

Geography Department

Graduate studies focus on the environmental and social consequences of human decisions at local, regional and global scales with special emphasis on environmental degradation and restoration, watershed and landscape change, urban and regional development, migration, and analysis and display of spatial data using geographic information systems.

Both disciplines offer Master's and Ph.D. degrees.
